Last updated: June 25, 2026 · Effective: June 25, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how TJB Partners LLC ("Furs4Sale," "we," "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you use the Furs4Sale marketplace (the "Service"). It applies to users in the United States and Canada. By using the Service you agree to this Policy and to our Terms of Service.
1. Information we collect
You give us: - Account & profile: name, email, password or third-party login identifier, and any display name, avatar, bio, and contact info you add. - Listings & content: photos, descriptions, prices, reviews, and messages you send other users. - Transactions: items bought/sold, order history, and shipping addresses.
We collect automatically: - Usage & device data: IP address, browser/device type, pages viewed, and similar log data, via cookies and similar technologies (Section 6).
We receive from third parties: - Social login: basic profile/identity from Google, Facebook, or Apple when you sign in with them. - Payments: account status and verification signals from Stripe.
Payment card data. Card payments are processed by Stripe. We do not collect or store full payment-card numbers.
2. How we use information
We use personal information to: create and manage accounts and authenticate you; operate the marketplace (list items, process orders, enable payouts, support fulfillment); send transactional emails (order, shipping, messaging, and account notices) via our email provider; prevent fraud and enforce our Terms and policies (including moderation and seller suspension); provide customer support; comply with legal obligations (including tax and fur-product regulations); and maintain and improve the Service.
3. How we share information
We are not in the business of selling your personal information. We share it only as described here:
- With other users (to complete transactions). When you buy or sell, the buyer and seller see each other's name and shipping address as needed to fulfill the order. Your public profile, listings, and reviews are visible to other users.
- With service providers (subprocessors) who process data on our behalf under contract: (image storage and content delivery).
- Stripe — payments, payouts, identity verification, fraud prevention.
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) — Cognito (authentication) and S3 / CloudFront
- Resend — transactional email delivery.
We do not use third-party analytics or advertising providers at launch. - For legal & safety reasons — to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, enforce our Terms, or protect the rights, safety, and property of users or the public. - Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice as required by law.
"Sale"/"Sharing" (CCPA). We do not sell personal information for money, and we do not "share" it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We nonetheless honor opt-out requests and browser opt-out signals (Section 7).
4. Cookies & tracking technologies
We use only strictly-necessary/essential cookies (e.g., for login/session and security) and do not use analytics or advertising cookies. You can control cookies through your browser. We honor recognized browser-based opt-out signals such as Global Privacy Control (GPC) (Section 7).
5. Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes in this Policy and to meet legal, tax, accounting, and dispute-resolution obligations, then delete or de-identify it. Our general retention periods are: account data: for the life of your account plus 1 year; transaction and tax records: 7 years; messages: 3 years; server logs: 12 months.
6. How we protect information
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards — including encryption in transit (TLS), reliance on Stripe for card data, access controls, and least-privilege practices. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your privacy rights (US)
Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may have the right to: access/know the personal information we hold; correct inaccurate information; delete your information; obtain a portable copy; opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal data, or certain profiling; and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

- "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information." Even though we do not sell or share data as defined by law, you may submit a request via Section 9 and we will treat it as an opt-out.
